Carrie Fisher Honored with Hollywood Walk of Fame Star on Star Wars Day.
Actress Carrie Fisher, best known for her role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars series, is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. Fisher's star will be located near those of her Star Wars co-stars Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford. Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, will accept the honor on her behalf. Fisher and her mother, Debbie Reynolds, who was also an actress, both passed away in 2016.
