Capcom has released the first trailer for the latest animated Resident Evil movie, Death Island, which features a team-up between Leon and Jill, as well as Chris and Claire. The movie is set on Alcatraz Island and includes fast zombies and undead sharks. The movie will be released in Japan on July 7 and worldwide at a later date.

The latest trailer for the upcoming animated film, Resident Evil: Death Island, reveals its Japanese release date of July 7, 2023, but no wider release date has been given yet. The trailer features Chris Redfield, Claire Redfield, Leon Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and Rebecca Chambers battling a new threat on Alcatraz Island. The film is directed by Eiichirō Hasumi and written by Makoto Fukami, and is a sequel to the 2017 film, Resident Evil: Vendetta.

The first full trailer for Resident Evil: Death Island, the fourth animated movie in the franchise, has been released. The movie will feature the first official on-screen encounter between Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, two of the series' most popular characters. It will take place between the events of Resident Evil 6 and 7 and will see Leon attempting to rescue a kidnapped scientist while Chris Redfield investigates a zombie outbreak in San Francisco. The movie will be released in cinemas in Japan on July 7 and distributed worldwide by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
