Foo Fighters rock opening night at DC's The Atlantis with special guests.
Foo Fighters gave a rare performance of "New Way Home" and introduced new drummer Josh Freese at a DC concert, which was only their second proper concert since the death of former drummer Taylor Hawkins. The band's emotional performance paid tribute to Hawkins, with frontman Dave Grohl dedicating a song to him and the entire concert feeling like a catharsis for the band. The concert also marked the opening of The Atlantis, a new venue in DC, and the unveiling of a life-size sculpture of Grohl. The band's new album, "But Here We Are," features 10 songs about loss and grieving, including Grohl's love letter to Hawkins, "Under You."
