Daytona 500 start moved up to 1:30 PM ET amid forecast
Due to a weather forecast in the Daytona Beach area, NASCAR moved the Daytona 500 start to 1:30 p.m. ET, one hour earlier than planned. Gates open at 9:00 a.m., the Hard Rock Bet Fanzone at 8:30 a.m., and parking at 6:00 a.m.; pre-race entertainment by Miranda Lambert and a U.S. Air Force flyover remain on schedule. The race kicks off the Cup Series with a purse exceeding $31 million. Kyle Busch will lead from the pole with Chase Briscoe on the front row, and William Byron pursues a record third consecutive Daytona 500 win. FOX, MRN, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will broadcast the event.
