Ohio State's Student Appreciation Day showcases standout players and raises questions for the upcoming season.
Ohio State held its second spring scrimmage as part of the program's Student Appreciation Day event, with several standout performers emerging, including wide receiver Carnell Tate, defensive lineman JT Tuimoloau, cornerback Davison Igbinosun, and quarterbacks Kyle McCord and Devin Brown. Freshman tight end Jelani Thurman and running backs Dallan Hayden and Chip Trayanum also had notable moments. The Buckeyes' defense, particularly the defensive line, dominated the scrimmage, with Tuimoloau recording three sacks. Tate, a heralded recruit, caught a high volume of first-team reps and made plays over the middle of the field and down the sideline.
