Rudy Giuliani Faces $1.4M Lawsuit from Former Lawyers Over Unpaid Fees
Rudy Giuliani is being sued by his former law firm, Davidoff Butcher & Citron LLP, for nearly $1.4 million in unpaid legal fees. The firm claims that Giuliani has only paid $214,000 since November 2019, despite being represented by partner Robert Costello in various criminal, civil, and Congressional investigations. The lawsuit marks a significant turn in the relationship between Giuliani and Costello, who have known each other for around 40 years. Giuliani recently pleaded not guilty to criminal charges in Georgia related to the 2020 presidential election.
