
Ubisoft Fires Veteran Employee After Public Critique of Return-to-Office and Strategy
Ubisoft has terminated veteran employee David Michaud-Cromp after initially suspending him for public comments criticizing the company’s return-to-office policy and other strategic decisions. Screenshots of his remarks in Ubisoft’s internal Agora channel reportedly clarified the reasons behind the suspension and termination, including criticism of RTO, studio closures, and leadership by co-CEO Charlie Guillemot. Ubisoft confirmed he can no longer work at the company, ending a 13+ year tenure.
