Man sees The Killers at Steelhouse Omaha's grand opening during quest to attend concerts in all 50 states.
British tourist David Cope drove overnight from Indiana to catch The Killers in Omaha, as part of his attempt to see a concert in all 50 states. Cope, who is in his 30s, plans to attend the Counting Crows concert in June at Steelhouse Omaha. He likes coming to the US because of the smaller venues and the little things he sees during the gigs. Steelhouse Omaha is designed to optimize amplified sound and bring fans closer to the stage. Omaha city leaders hope to draw more people downtown with the new live music space, Gene Leahy Mall, and Civic Square.
