David Agus faces more plagiarism accusations in new books
Dr. David Agus, a USC oncologist and media personality, has had sales of his latest book suspended after at least 95 passages were found to be copied from other uncredited sources. The Los Angeles Times has since reviewed Agus’ three previous books and found more than 120 passages that are virtually identical to the language and structure of previously published material. Agus’ collaborator, Kristin Loberg, has taken responsibility for the plagiarism, but experts say Agus is ultimately responsible as the author. Simon & Schuster has said new editions will be released as soon as possible.
