Tragic Murder-Suicide Claims Lives of Cullman County Deputy and Dispatcher

A Cullman County deputy and a dispatcher were killed in an apparent murder-suicide in Orange Beach. Deputy Kenneth Booth and dispatcher Lexi White, who were in a dating relationship, got into an argument that escalated. Booth shot and killed White before turning the gun on himself. The Cullman County Sheriff's Office expressed shock and sadness, asking for prayers for the families involved. White had been a beloved member of the Sheriff's Office since she was 16.

Arrest Made in East L.A. Gunpoint Kidnapping Case

A man has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of a woman who was boarding a bus in East Los Angeles. Surveillance footage shows the man breaking a window on the bus and pointing a handgun at the driver before coercing the woman into a nearby car. The suspect, identified as 24-year-old Angel Flores, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and a replica firearm resembling the one used in the kidnapping was recovered from his vehicle. The victim was found to be in a dating relationship with the suspect.
