Samsung Unveils Lightning-Fast T9 Portable SSD with Blazing 2,000MB/s Transfer Speeds

Samsung has unveiled its new Portable SSD T9, a solid-state drive that offers up to 2,000 MB/s sequential read and write speeds through the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface. The T9 is approximately twice as fast as its predecessor, the T7, and comes in 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB options. With an aluminum body and rubber covering, it can withstand drops up to nine feet and includes USB Type C-to-C and USB Type C-to-A cables. The T9 is compatible with Samsung's Magician software and is available for purchase starting at $140.
