USMNT's Daryl Dike out for up to nine months with Achilles injury and surgery confirmed.
USMNT striker Daryl Dike will be out of action for six to nine months due to a full rupture of his right Achilles tendon, which he sustained during West Brom's 2-1 win at Stoke on Saturday. The 22-year-old had scored seven goals in 23 Championship matches for West Brom this season and was not part of the USMNT roster to face Mexico on Wednesday. West Brom's medical and sports science teams will provide Dike with all the support he requires to return to full fitness later this year.
