A group of Russian soldiers joyriding through a Ukrainian field on an MT-LB armored fighting vehicle accidentally drove over a landmine and were caught on camera as a large explosion occurred. The soldiers had been posing with the flag of the Russian Federation before the blast interrupted the video. The fate of the soldiers and camera operator is unknown. The incident has been nominated for a Darwin Award, which honors those who accidentally remove their own DNA from the gene pool during a "great idea" gone wrong.
