Patriots add Darrell Taylor to practice squad, waive Elijah Mitchell
The New England Patriots signed veteran defensive end Darrell Taylor to the practice squad after his stint with the Houston Texans and released running back Elijah Mitchell from the practice squad. Taylor, 28, has 69 career games with 24.5 sacks and previously spent time with Seattle and Chicago, while Mitchell, a 2021 sixth-round pick, has 1,523 rushing yards in his NFL career.
