Sony Shuts Down Dark Outlaw Games After One Year
PlayStation is closing its first‑party studio Dark Outlaw Games, formed in March 2025 by ex‑Call of Duty: Zombies lead Jason Blundell, with about 50 staff laid off as the studio winds down. Details behind the shutdown are not disclosed, and Sony is also trimming its mobile development team. This marks the second Blundell studio to be shuttered after Deviation closed in 2024.
