George C. Scott III, son of former Red Sox star George Scott, allegedly killed his 8-year-old son Dante Hazard with a sharp object before taking his own life in a murder-suicide in their New Bedford home. Hazard's mother has been missing since 2019, and Scott is a person of interest in her disappearance. The investigation is ongoing.
