
MLB Pitcher Dan Serafini Faces Court for Shooting In-Laws During Burglary
Former Major League Baseball player Danny Serafini and his wife Samantha Scott have been arrested in connection with the shooting of Serafini's father-in-law and mother-in-law during a home burglary in 2021. Court documents allege that Serafini used a .22 caliber firearm in the murder and is facing charges of special circumstances for lying in wait. Serafini and Scott are also accused of attempted murder and burglary. The documents reveal allegations of child endangerment as well. Serafini, who pitched in the MLB from 1996 to 2007, was extradited from Nevada to California and is set to be arraigned on October 31. Scott is still awaiting extradition.
