The co-creators of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, have expressed their desire for the show's fifth and final season to "stick the landing." In a farewell letter to the show, Sherman-Palladino thanked everyone who helped bring her vision to life and expressed her difficulty in walking away from the show's characters. The Palladinos did not always have a five-season plan in mind for the show, but they always had an end point in mind. They hope to give the show's actors a satisfying conclusion and for fans to miss the show terribly.
