Ingebrigtsen and Girma shatter world records at Paris Diamond League.
Jakob Ingebrigtsen broke the two mile world record in Paris with a time of 7:54.10, beating Daniel Komen's record that had stood since 1997. Ingebrigtsen was accompanied by two rabbits from the start and never wavered from the pace, passing 3000m in 7:24.07. This was only the second outdoor race of Ingebrigtsen's campaign, and he also holds the fastest time in history in the indoor 1500m.
