Former Nickelodeon stars Devon Werkheiser, Lindsey Shaw, and Daniel Curtis Lee apologized to Drake Bell after making insensitive remarks about his childhood trauma during a TikTok live. Bell had revealed he was sexually abused by his former dialogue coach, Brian Peck, and criticized the trio for seemingly making light of his trauma. Werkheiser expressed regret and clarified that their comments were taken out of context, while Shaw acknowledged their insensitivity. Bell's father also accused Peck of driving a wedge between him and his son. Peck was initially charged with child sex abuse, served prison time, and is a registered sex offender.
