Traffic Resumes as Key Roads Reopen After I-471 Bridge Inspections
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has reopened more streets after completing inspections on the Daniel Carter Beard Bridge. Structural engineers assessed the damage and removed a damaged sign truss, allowing Pete Rose Way and Riverside Drive to reopen. However, access to I-471 South remains closed with detours in place via I-71 and I-75 South. A single-lane closure continues on I-471 North near Memorial Parkway.
