"Dani Alves Released on Bail After Sexual Assault Conviction"
Brazilian soccer star Dani Alves has been released from prison after paying a €1 million bond for provisional release following a sexual assault conviction. Alves, who was sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison, has had his Brazilian and Spanish passports confiscated and is prohibited from leaving Spanish territory. He must also make weekly court appearances and adhere to a restraining order, barring him from contacting the plaintiff and requiring him to stay at least one kilometer away from her.
