Teen's body identified after drowning in St. Croix River.
The body of 18-year-old D'Andrea Sanvig, who fell into the St. Croix River at Interstate State Park last month, has been found and identified. The cause of death was drowning. Despite a month-long search effort by multiple agencies, river torrents caused by the spring melt hindered rescue efforts. Canoeists discovered the body floating in the water.
