Dallas Police Investigate Officer-Involved Shooting and Accidental Discharge
Dallas police are investigating an officer-involved shooting on Lemmon Avenue. A man in a U-Haul truck intentionally rammed a police surveillance car and led officers on a pursuit before crashing into several cars. The suspect then fled on foot and fired at a pursuing officer, who returned fire and struck the suspect in the leg. The suspect survived and was taken to a local hospital. The officer was unharmed.
