Brittney Griner speaks out on WNBA travel issues.
Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner criticized the WNBA for not providing private charter flights for the team earlier, after an incident at a Dallas airport where she and her teammates were harassed. The league had approved a hybrid plan in April that allowed Griner to fly two preapproved charter flights, but only Griner and not the entire team could fly on those planes. The plan also includes Griner and the Mercury being able to use the JSX air carrier for standard flights.
