Alfredo Castellanos-Rosales, who had a romantic history and a child with 23-year-old Jordan Beardshear, has been apprehended in Mexico and charged with first and second-degree murder for her death in her Dakota Dunes apartment. Castellanos-Rosales' cell phone was found near the apartment at the time of her death. He has been expelled from Mexico and awaits extradition to South Dakota.
Alfredo Castellanos-Rosales, who is wanted for the murder of 23-year-old Jordan “Jordy” Beardshear in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota, has been apprehended in Mexico and turned over to the U.S. Marshals at Laredo, Texas. He is to remain in custody in Texas until he is extradited back to South Dakota to be officially charged with murder. Castellanos-Rosales and Beardshear had a child together.
Authorities are searching for Alfredo Castellanos-Rosales, a Sioux City man accused of murdering Jordan Beardshear, 23, of Dakota Dunes, with whom he shared a child. Castellanos-Rosales is facing charges of first-degree murder and second-degree murder. Witnesses reported that Beardshear was waiting for Castellanos-Rosales to pick her and her one-year-old child up at her apartment around 8:30 p.m. on April 25. Her body was found the next day with stab wounds and defensive slashing wounds. Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding Castellanos-Rosales but to not approach him.
