Royals shake up outfield roster, DFA Jackie Bradley Jr. and promote Dairon Blanco.
The Kansas City Royals have promoted outfielder Dairon Blanco and designated outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. for assignment. Blanco, known for his speed, was hitting .347 with three home runs in the minor leagues. Bradley, a former Gold Glove winner, struggled at the plate with a .133 batting average in 113 plate appearances.
