A recent analysis revealed that Stellar Blade's demo on PS5 had nearly double the number of daily active players at its peak compared to Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's demo. The Korean action RPG's demo accrued about 690,000 daily active users, while the demo for FF7 Rebirth managed roughly 380,000 at its peak. The difference in player figures could be attributed to Stellar Blade being a new IP with much to prove, while FF7 Rebirth is part of an established series, leading to different levels of anticipation and player engagement.
