"Fatal DUI Crash: Driver's Speeding and Impairment Suspected in Las Vegas Bus Stop Tragedy"
Cynthia Phelps, 64, faces multiple charges, including two counts of DUI resulting in death, after driving the wrong way and hitting five people at a Las Vegas bus stop, killing two and injuring three others. She was driving 20 mph over the speed limit and had a "strong odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage" on her breath. Phelps claimed she had a seizure and believed she made a U-turn before the collision, but evidence showed she was driving north on the southbound side of the road. She is being held on a $500,000 bail.
