Introducing 'Blackbird': The Revolutionary Omnidirectional Flying Taxi
CycloTech, an Austrian company, has unveiled the "BlackBird" demonstrator, a flying taxi that uses a novel propulsion system called the CycloRotor. This system, inspired by the Voith Schneider propeller, allows the aircraft to move and spin in any direction, enhancing maneuverability and passenger comfort. The BlackBird aims to differentiate itself from traditional eVTOL aircraft with its unique propulsion technology. The full-size version is expected to fly by early 2025.
