Tadej Pogačar Dominates Tour de France with Record-Breaking Climb
Tadej Pogačar broke Marco Pantani's 26-year-old record on the Plateau de Beille summit at the Tour de France, finishing nearly four minutes faster. Pogačar's victory strengthens his lead and brings him closer to achieving the Giro-Tour double, a feat last accomplished by Pantani in 1998. Despite intense competition from Jonas Vingegaard and Visma-Lease a Bike, Pogačar's performance and strategic counter-attacks have put him in a strong position for overall victory with six days of racing left.
