Microsoft Windows Urges Immediate Update with New Security Deadline
Microsoft has issued urgent security updates for Windows 10 and 11, addressing a record 196 vulnerabilities in October, including two critical zero-day flaws (CVE-2025-24990 and CVE-2025-59230). The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has mandated federal agencies to update within two weeks to mitigate risks from these vulnerabilities, which include privilege escalation and legacy driver issues affecting nearly all Windows systems.
