Red Sox's Brayan Bello Improving Pitching Skills and Trying New Techniques
Brayan Bello helped the Boston Red Sox end their two-game losing streak by pitching deep into the game and only surrendering one run on six hits against the Chicago White Sox. Bello debuted a new pitch, a cutter, which he started working on earlier in the week. Red Sox manager Alex Cora is pleased with Bello's growth, and according to Red Sox senior manager of media relations and baseball information J.P. Long, Bello has a 2.45 ERA in his last 10 starts.
