The issue only occurs during the Lilith boss cutscene, where the floor falls away and characters can fall to their death if they don't move in time. Bungie dropped a massive lore bomb on a random Tuesday in the middle of Destiny 2: Season of the Deep with a new cutscene that explains the origins of the series’ big bad, The Witness, and even starts unraveling the mystery of The Veil. The cutscene finally gives players some information on what The Traveler actually is. The Gardener and The Winnower are actually one and the same. The Final Shape is the perfect universe that The Witness’ people believed they could create by using The Darkness to tame The Light. The cutscene is a welcome taste of transparency after Bungie’s overly cryptic Lightfall expansion.
