A long-lost unused ending cutscene for the 2001 game Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro, featuring a Thor cameo, was recently rediscovered and uploaded online by a digital hoarder, resolving a mystery about its existence.
A Diablo 4 player posted on Reddit about their character dying during a cutscene, which surprised many players who were unaware that dying in the background of a cutscene was possible. A full-CG cutscene in Act VI of Diablo 4 has been praised as one of the best in-game cutscenes ever made. The scene features Inarius pursuing Lilith, the mother of their child, and ends with his brutal death, fracturing his army and leaving the player to face Mephisto and Lilith. The scene is praised for its music, animation, performances, script, and weight, and is the culmination of the game's engaging story. Spoilers ahead.
