"AMD's Ryzen Z1 Mini-PC: Benchmarked and Ready for the Extreme"
The first review of a Mini-PC powered by the AMD Ryzen Z1 chip has been released, showcasing its performance and features. The Ryzen Z1 series, which features Zen4 and RDNA3 architectures, offers power efficiency and longer battery life for handheld systems. AMD has launched two Z1 chips, the Z1 Extreme and Z1, with the former being the preferred choice due to its better performance. However, a lower-priced Z1 variant may find a market niche. The Mini-PC implementation of the Ryzen Z1 series provides users with more freedom in power profiles and less thermal constraints, but it may run slower memory, affecting gaming performance. The company is also developing a Z1 Extreme version, with release timing and pricing yet to be determined.
