Ubisoft has stated that it's "unlikely" that The Division 2 will receive a native Xbox Series X|S version due to the game's structure, which would make it unavailable on last-gen consoles. The game already runs at 4K/60fps on the latest Xbox consoles, but Ubisoft wants to ensure that it still runs smoothly on older generations. With the upcoming launch of the free-to-play The Division Heartland, it remains to be seen if investing in The Division 2's development is worthwhile.
