
Swimmer Rescued After 5-Hour Battle with Current
A 63-year-old swimmer, Dan Ho, was rescued off the coast of Long Island after being swept out to sea by a powerful current. Ho treaded water for five hours without a flotation device before being spotted by two men in a fishing boat who pulled him to safety. Ho was in a critical condition, suffering from hypothermia and dehydration, and was given first aid before being taken to a local hospital.
