Boy George Makes Broadway Comeback in 'Moulin Rouge!' After 20 Years
Boy George, lead singer of Culture Club, will return to Broadway after 20 years to play the role of Harold Zidler in the hit musical Moulin Rouge! The Musical. He will perform at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre from February 6 to May 12, 2024. The Zidler character is the owner of the Moulin Rouge! nightclub and serves as a de facto emcee in the show. Boy George was last on Broadway in the musical Taboo, which he wrote and starred in. Moulin Rouge! features a variety of pop music hits and won ten Tony Awards in 2021.
