"Oscar Colas: A Promising Prospect in the Big Leagues"
The Chicago White Sox's prospect Oscar Colás, who was signed for $2.7 million in January 2022, has won the team's right-field job after just one season in the U.S. Minors. Colás, who features some of the best power and arm strength in the club's system, outplayed Gavin Sheets on both sides of the ball in the Cactus League. He gives Chicago four Cubans in its starting lineup, joining Yasmani Grandal, Yoán Moncada, and Luis Robert Jr. Colás could provide 30 or more homers per season once he gets established in the big leagues.
