Pimax is set to release the high-end premium VR headset, Crystal Super, featuring interchangeable QLED and Micro-OLED optical engines, significantly increasing pixel count and offering a modular design. With improved comfort and focus on PCVR, the headset targets serious gamers, requiring a powerful gaming PC and a substantial investment, with prices ranging from $1,799 to $2,399. Additionally, Pimax announced the Crystal Airlink wireless adaptor for the base Crystal headset, enabling wireless PCVR play at $299, expected to ship in 2024.
