The "SYNCHRONY" DLC for Crypt of the NecroDancer is now available for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC, featuring three new characters, online multiplayer support, mod support, and various new items and enemies, with a price tag of $6.99. The DLC was previously in Early Access for 18 months and is not yet planned for release on Xbox One.

The studio confirmed that development would continue on NecroDancer's Synchrony DLC and rhythm game spin-off Rif Of The NecroDancer, as well as time-rewinding mech battler Phantom Brigade and one unannounced project. The decision was not made lightly, and the studio is providing severance packages and support services to assist those impacted by this decision.

Former senior producer Crystal Savin mentioned on social media that about half of the developer's workforce has been cut.
