Las Vegas police assisted in dispersing a crowd that had gathered for an alleged album release party for Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign, after the event promoter failed to produce any licensing. The event, promoted as a "rave" in promotion of Kanye and Ty's new album "Vultures," was charging $2000 for admission. No arrests were made.
Brooklyn Park police dispersed a large crowd of several hundred juveniles at River Park on Saturday night after responding to reports of loud music. The police had previously warned a group of 40 people to turn off the music, but the crowd grew to hundreds. Due to city ordinances being violated, the park was closed early, and a prolonged police presence was required to clear the area.
A sideshow in Oakland early Saturday morning ended with cars on fire and police trying to disperse a large crowd of onlookers. Someone wearing a mask got into a car and used it to repeatedly ram another vehicle, which was already engulfed in flames. People were also seen setting off fireworks in the direction of police. No word yet on if any arrests have been made.
