CRKT has released a new Orochi knife inspired by a custom design by Princeton Wong, featuring a Damascus steel blade, titanium handle, and a semi-secret flipper deployment, making it a high-performance, visually striking everyday carry (EDC) knife priced at $200.
Knife designer Darriel Caston, known for designing a pocket blade for SpaceX, has teamed up with CRKT to create a production-ready version of the knife. Named Mbombo, the knife features a Damascus Steel blade and a titanium handle. It incorporates materials from SpaceX's launch pad and has a precisely engineered flipping mechanism. The blade measures 3.23 inches and the entire knife weighs 3.5 ounces. The Mbombo is equipped with a textured handle for better grip, a frame lock, pocket clip, and lanyard hole. It is priced at $225 with free shipping in the US.
