Heroic 7th Grader Saves School Bus and Classmates After Driver Passes Out
A seventh grader in Michigan helped avert a possible crisis when his school bus driver fell asleep at the wheel and the boy brought the bus to a stop. The student saw the driver in distress, stepped to the front of the bus and helped bring it to a stop without incident. The police and fire departments responded to the scene and treated the driver, and the students were moved onto another bus for the rest of their ride home.
