Delphi Murder Suspect's Lawyers Abruptly Quit Amid Evidence Concerns
Defense attorneys for Delphi murder suspect Richard Allen have quit after gruesome crime scene photos were leaked to the public, leading to a delay in the trial. The photos allegedly came from a former employee of one of the attorneys. The judge has requested Allen's former attorneys to assist his new defense team and ordered all evidence to be handed over to the state. The trial, originally scheduled for January 2024, will be postponed. Allen's previous attorneys had filed court documents claiming that the victims were ritually sacrificed by members of a pagan Norse religion and white nationalist group called 'Odinism.'
