Why a 'Zelda Maker' Game is Unlikely, According to Developers
The developers of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Hidemaro Fujibayashi and Eiji Aonuma, revealed in a recent interview that they would not create a standalone crafting system experience for the game, despite its impressive physics and versatile crafting mechanics. They believe in encouraging players to be creative without making it a requirement, allowing for multiple paths and approaches to gameplay. While players have showcased their ingenuity and creative solutions in the game, the developers prefer to provide the opportunity for creativity rather than forcing players to start from scratch.
