Craig Conroy Takes Over as General Manager of Calgary Flames
Craig Conroy has been named the new general manager of the Calgary Flames, replacing Brad Treliving. Conroy, who spent nine seasons as an assistant GM with the Flames, will be responsible for finding a new head coach to replace Darryl Sutter. He plans to add young players to the team's core and build around forward Elias Lindholm. David Nonis was also named senior vice president of hockey operations and assistant GM.
