Billie Joe Armstrong surprises London pub-goers with impromptu 'Basket Case' performance
Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong surprised a covers band, Borderline Toxic, by joining them on stage to sing "Basket Case" at Slim Jim's Liquor Store in north London. The impromptu performance was documented on social media by both the band and Green Day. The punk rock band currently has five shows scheduled, including two headline appearances at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas.
