Afroman Faces Lawsuit Over Music Videos Featuring Home Raid Footage
Afroman, the rapper, plans to countersue and release a new album dissing the officers individually after seven officers with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office sued him, his label and a music distribution service last week, alleging that the rapper unlawfully used their personas for a commercial purpose and subjected them to emotional distress and humiliation. Officers raided Afroman’s home on Aug. 21, he said. Security footage he posted on social media shows officers in body armor break down the door to his home and storm in.
