Cosmere Comes to Apple TV: Mistborn Film and Stormlight Archive TV Deal
Apple TV has secured rights to Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere for an unprecedented screen adaptation deal: Mistborn will become a feature film while The Stormlight Archive is headed for a TV series, with Sanderson writing, producing and consulting and having approval power. The Stormlight project already has producers attached (Blue Marble). The Cosmere universe, beloved by fans and boosted by Sanderson’s crowdfunding and conventions, now stands to become a major fantasy franchise.
